Tim Sherwin '81
- A sure-handed receiver and hard-hitting blocker, he was
college football's prototype tight end.
- Made 78 career pass receptions. He led all Eagle receivers
with 29 catches for 371 yards and two TDs as a senior,
earning All-East honors for his outstanding play.
- Was captain of the 1980 Eagle football team (7-4 record) and
won the Thomas F. Scanlan Award as the team's top scholar-
athlete.
- Following graduation, he played eight seasons in the
National Football League with the Baltimore Colts and New
York Giants.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 2002.
