Steve Schindler '77
- Capped an outstanding career by earning All-East (ECAC)
honors in 1977 and playing in the East-West Shrine Game in
1977.
- Established himself in '74 as a consistent and effective
offensive lineman; the combination of his size with his
desire and quickness made him highly regarded among BC
offensive lineman.
- Following an outstanding collegiate career, he was drafted
in the first round, 18th pick overall, in the 1977 NFL
Draft.
- Was an All-League, All-Area, All-Scholastic, and All-
Suburban Philadelphia in high school and played in the
talent-filled Big 33 game.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1998.
