Sarah Powell `01
-A defensive specialist from her sweeper position, she
was the Big East "Defensive Player of the Year" and an
All-America choice as a senior.
-Her steady and dependable play made the Eagles one of
the top defensive teams in college soccer throughout her
career.
-Selected to Northeast Regional All-America Teams in each
of her four varsity seasons; and Big East All-Conference
squads after her junior and senior years.
-Although playing as a defensive specialist, she contributed
10 offensive points during her career - including the game-
winning marker on her first collegiate goal.
