    - His ample pass-catching skills earned him not only a place in the Boston College football record book, but a prominent berth in college football history.

    - Made 107 receptions for 1,714 yards and six touchdowns during his varsity career, but none will be remembered as vividly as his 48-yard "Miracle" catch with no time remaining to give Boston College a thrilling 47-45 victory over the Miami Hurricanes on Nov. 23, 1984. The game-winning "Hail Mary" play was his 11th reception (226 yards, 2 TDs) in that college football classic.
