Dave O'Brien '63
- He enrolled at Boston College as a non-scholarship player
but soon emerged as one of the outstanding tackles ever to
play at the Heights.
- His ample gridiron talent, positive attitude, and ever-
present hustle enabled him to contribute as both an
offensive and defensive lineman on the Eagle teams of his
era.
- Following graduation, he played five seasons in the National
Football League as a member of the Minnesota Vikings, New
York Giants, and St. Louis Cardinals.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1985.
