John Miller '56
- A four-year starter at offensive tackle, he was a three-time
All-East selection and earned All-America honors as a
senior.
- Captain of the Eagles' football squad in 1955.
- Winner of the 1953 O'Melia Award as outstanding player in
the Boston College-Holy Cross game, the only offensive
tackle ever to be so honored.
- Played in the North-South Shrine Game and Senior Bowl
following his final season at the Heights.
- Enjoyed a successful National Football League career with
the Washington Redskins and Green Bay Packers.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1992.
