Andrea Melton `96
-A noted hurdler, sprinter and long jumper, she gained
All-America accolades as a hurdler.
-She won five New England individual championships; was a
member of an Eastern championship relay team; and set six
school records in various track events.
-Three-time New England champion in outdoor 100-meter hurdles;
twice won NE indoor 55-meter hurdles. Set BC records in indoor
55-meter hurdles (7.95); indoor long jump (19'10-3/4");
indoor distance medley relay (11:11.55); outdoor 100-meter hurdles(13.61);
outdoor long jump (19'6"); and outdoor shuttle hurdle
relay (60.07).
-Won 1996 Nathaniel J. Hasenfus "Eagle of the Year" Award as
outstanding female athlete in her graduating class.
