William T. McKillop '27
- As a freshman, he was a member of the Boston College relay
team that set two world records: the two-mile relay (7:47.6)
and the 2,400-yard relay (4:53.6).
- Anchor of the Eagle relay team that captured a Gold Medal in
the 1924 IC4A Championship meet.
- His collegiate career was crowned with victories, as he won
numerous races of national stature, ranging from the Knights
of Columbus Meets in Boston Garden to New York City's
Millrose Games.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1978.
