Jim Logue '61
- One of the finest goaltenders ever to wear Boston College's
Maroon and Gold, his 2.17 goals-against average as a senior
created a standard of his day.
- As a sophomore, he was the starting goalie in the opening
game at McHugh Forum and subsequently won All-East honors
and helped the Eagles earn a Beanpot Championship and NCAA
Tournament appearance during his outstanding career.
- Played goalie for the U.S. Olympic Team in 1968 and made 65
saves in a game against the USSR in the Olympic Tournament.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1985.
