Rob Lanney '81

- Boston College's first high jumper to clear the height of seven feet.

- Selected "Eagle of the Year" in 1981.

- An outstanding scholar-athlete, he also won an NCAA Post- Graduate Scholarship Award.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1989.
