Ricco Labbe '89
- A three-year starter at strong safety, he made 310
tackles and four pass interceptions during his
impressive varsity career.
- A member of the nationally-ranked 1986 Eagle team
that won the Hall of Fame Bowl game against the
University of Georgia.
- As a senior he was team captain; later played in the
Blue-Gray and East-West Shrine All-Star games.
- When chosen by the National Football League's
Washington Redskins in 1991, he was the highest-
selected Boston College defensive back in 25 years.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic
Hall of Fame in 2004.
