Bill Kitley '67
- Kitley played three years for legendary Boston College coach
Eddie Pellagrini (1965-67); he started in '66 and was
captain in '67.
- Played first base and threw and batted lefty; Kitley hit
approximately .300.
- Captain of the '67 team that capped a "Dream Season" with a
trip to the College World Series.
- With no home field, no southern trip, no scholarships and no
bona fide star player, Kitley and BC won an incredible two-
out-of-three series to make it to Omaha.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1998.
