Brian Kelley, Jr. '91
- Known as a "gamer" who helped the Eagle baseball
team win with his bat, his glove and his base-running
skills.
- Led the Big East Conference in hits for two
consecutive years; his 67 safeties in 1990 set a
Boston College season record. Posted a career
batting average of .353 and he had 19 multiple-hit
games.
- First Team All-Big East Conference second baseman
in 1990 and 1991; twice won All-Northeast, All-New
England and All-Greater Boston League honors.
- Team captain and Most Valuable Player of Boston
College's 1991 squad.
- After graduation, played professional baseball in
Europe.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic
Hall of Fame in 2004.
