Leo Hughes '24
- Revered as one of the greatest hockey players of his
generation after leading Boston College to American
Collegiate Hockey Championships in 1922 and 1923.
- Fast, rugged, fearless, and clever, he was a fiery
competitor who dominated the college hockey world of his day
from his position on the Eagles' right wing.
- Two-time hockey captain, and four-year football letterman.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1971.
