Marybeth Ripp Hollinger '83
- A talented fullback, she powered the Boston College soccer
team to two successive appearances in the sport's National
Championship Tournament.
- Played center, defense, and wing in lacrosse, boosting the
Eagles to a seventh-place finish in the AIAW Nationals, and
earning All-Tournament honors for herself.
- Excellent in the classroom as well as on the playing fields,
she was winner of the Nathaniel J. Hasenfus "Eagle of the
Year" Award as the outstanding female student-athlete in her
graduating class.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1988.
