Jack Heaphy '23
- An incomparable All-America center who excelled at both offense and defense. He was a true cornerstone of Boston College's undefeated 1920 Eastern Championship team.
- A pin-point long snapper and punt defender, he played a major role in making the Eagles' kicking game the best in college football.
- Elected captain of the 1921 team, but had to forego the honor because of illness. Returned to complete his outstanding varsity career in the 1922 season.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1971.
