Ray Hawkins '87
- An extremely talented and highly versatile performer, he set
Boston College records in the outdoor long jump (26'6-
1/4''), indoor long jump (25'5-1/4''), and indoor triple
jump (51'9'').
- Was named winner of the 1987 Nathaniel J. Hasenfus "Eagle of
the Year" Award as the outstanding senior male student-
athlete.
- A three-time New England long jump champion and twice
qualified for the NCAA championship meet.
- Qualified for the 1988 United States Olympics Trials.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1993.
