John Hanlon '85
- The first Boston College wrestler to win a New England
Division I Championship and qualify for the NCAA Division I
National Championship Tournament.
- Two-time team captain (1984 and 1985); three-time New
England Champion (1982, 1983, and 1985); and qualified for
the NCAA Tournament in each of his four varsity seasons. He
also finished second in the 1985 Catholic Championship
Tournament.
- Scored 20 or more victories in each collegiate season,
capping his careerwith a 29-3 record as a senior.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1996.
