Keith Francis '76
- An extremely talented middle distance runnier, Keith was New
England champion and set Boston College records in seven
different events: 800-yard, 800-meters, and mile (outdoors);
and 600-yards, 880-yards, 1,000-yards, and 1,000-meters
(indoors).
- Accorded All-America recognition, he was ranked as the No. 2
half-miler in the nation.
- Represented the United States in international meets against
the Soviet Union and China, and was chosen to compete in the
1976 U.S. Olympic Trials.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1981.
