John Fitzgerald '70

- Big, fast, and strong, he starred as both offensive and defensive tackle in his three-year varsity career.

- After graduation, he was drafted by the NFL's Dallas Cowboys where he was that team's starting center for the next 11 years. He played in four Super Bowl games and earned several All-Pro honors during his long and distinguished professional football career.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1982.
