Mary Kay Finnerty '76
<
- Established Boston College swimming records in the 50-,100-,
and 200-yard breastroke events and was four-time Greater
Boston champion in these events as well.
- Medalist in New England and Eastern swimming competition.
- Helped found varsity Field Hockey at Boston College and was
that team's captain in her junior and senior seasons.
- Mary Kay was the first female athlete elected to the Boston
College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1980.
