Frank Faggiano '62
- A top-flight defensive third baseman who led the baseball
Eagles to College World Series appearances in 1960 and 1961.
- Batted .320 in College World Series competition.
- Elected team captain in 1962 and was named winner of that
year's Francis "Cheese" McCrehan Award for character,
scholarship, and baseball ability.
- Founder and first president of the Boston College Diamond
Club.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1993.
