- BC's career scoring leader with 239 points (239); ranks second in goals (112) and assists (127).
- 1990-91 recipient of the Eagle of the Year Award.
- Scored 38 goals during the 1989-90 season, tying the school single-season record.
- A two-time All-America selection who captured the 1991 Hobey Baker Award as college hockey's best player.
- Recipient of the 1991 Walter Brown Award, given to the best American-born player in New England.
- Was a member of the 1992 U.S. Olympic Team.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006.
