-Captain of the 1953 Boston College golf team - the New England Intercollegiate Golf Team Champions and one of the finest teams in the "Golden Age" of New England collegiate golf.

-In three years of varsity competition, he won 16 of 18 matches as the No. 1 or No. 2 player for the Eagles. He was undefeated in regular-season play as a senior.

-Key contributor to BC's 1952 New England Golf Team Championship.
