James W. Driscoll '22

- Known as "Mr. Boston College Track" in the Twenties, he was the New England, Eastern, and IC4A 440-yard dash champion and set a world record in the indoor quarter-mile in 1920.

- Was Boston College's first All-America runner (1920) and was a member of the United States Track and Field Team that competed in the 1924 Olympic Games at Paris, France.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1970.
