Rev. Msgr. John D. Day '34

-   Theologian, humanitarian, linguist, and historian of Boston
    College athletics. 

-   One of Boston College’s most loyal and dedicated alumni and
    sports fans, he has been a treasured resource to the 
    University through seven decades of service. 

-   In 1990, the Boston College student body selected him “Bald
    Eagle of the Year” as the “favorite son” among all alumni.
 
-   Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
    of Fame in 1991.
