- His 60 yards per kick punting average was best in the nation in his senior season.

- After graduation, he enjoyed a long (46 years) and highly successful coaching career at LaSalle Academy in Rhode Island.

- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall of Fame in 1980.
