Peter Cronan '77
- Aggressive and hard-hitting, he started for three seasons at
defensive tackle before being moved to linebacker where he
earned All-America and Eastern "Player of the Year" honors
in 1976.
- Football team captain in his senior season.
- Enjoyed a long and successful career in the National
Football League where he played in two Super Bowls and was
special teams captain of the 1982 World Champion Washington
Redskins.
- Served as President of the Boston College Varsity Club in
1991 and 1992.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1986.
