John Coyle '62
- An exceptional hitter and skillful second-baseman, he twice
led the Eagles in batting (1960 and 1961) and had an
impressive .326 career average.
- Two-time Greater Boston League All-Star.
- Key contributor to the Eagles' Greater Boston League
Championships, New England Championships, and berths in the
College World Series in 1961 and 1962.
- A founder of the Boston College Diamond Club.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
