Leslie Freeman Charles '86
- Team captain as a senior, she was a member of the 1600-meter
relay team that captured the BIG EAST Conference Indoor
Championship in that event in 1985.
- Was New England Indoor champion in the 55-meter and 200-
meter sprint events and a two-time member of New England
championship 200-meter relay team.
- Set Boston College records in 300-meter indoor event (39.65)
and was a member of the record-setting indoor mile relay
team (3:53.01). In outdoor competition, she established
school records in 200-meter (24.79) and 400-meter (48.63)
events.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1995.
