Edward B. Carroll '56
- Captain of the 1956 Boston College hockey team that advanced
to the "Frozen Four" of the NCAA Championship Tournament.
- A supreme checker and penalty-killer, he was twice
named "Outstanding Defensive Forward" in New England and
selected to All-New England teams.
- For more than 30 years, has served Boston College Athletic
Association as Business Manager, Associate Athletic
Director, and Men's Golf coach.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1987.
