Gil Bouley '44
- A fierce and determined tackle, he was an All-East selection
as a sophomore and followed with All-America honors in his
junior year.
- Was chosen captain of the 1943 Eagle team, but service to
his country interrupted his collegiate career before the
season began.
- Played seven seasons with the Los Angeles Rams where he
earned All-Pro recognition.
- Returned to Boston College as offensive line coach where his
teaching and motivational skills made him an overwhelming
success.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1980.
