E. Ward Bitter '77
- An excellent scorer and clever ball-handler, he was one of
the nation's scoring leaders as a senior, averaging 4.0
goals-per-game.
- As a midfielder and attacker, he accounted for 148 points
during his superb varsity career.
- Was named All-America, All-New England, Most Valuable Player
in Greater Boston and selected to the Northeast All-Star
Team. He also played in both the East-West and North-South
All-Star games.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1987.
