Eagles Name Jim Paquette Assistant Athletic Director for Development

Boston College has promoted Jim Paquette to the position of Assistant Athletic Director for Development, according to an announcement made today by Eagles' athletic director Gene DeFilippo.

Paquette assumes his new role after serving the last three years as Boston College's Athletic Development Assistant.

A 1992 graduate of Providence College, Paquette came to Boston College in 1994 after earning his master's degree in sports management at the University of Massachusetts.

"Jim has done an outstanding job in his tenure at Boston College, and this position is something that is certainly deserved," DeFilippo said. "With Jim's leadership, I am very excited about the prospects of future giving from Boston College's fans, friends and alumni."

Immediately following his graduation from Providence College, Paquette served one year as assistant ticket manager at the University of New Hampshire.
