Tom Apprille '64
- Owner of one of the lowest goals-against average (2.74 over
his career) of any Boston College goaltender.
- All-Tournament Team goalie in NCAA, ECAC, Beanpot, and
Holiday Festival Tournaments, 1962-63.
- Most Valuable Player of 1962-63 Eagles' NCAA Frozen Four
team.
- Twice backstopped Eagles to victory in the Beanpot
Tournament.
- Captain of the 1964 hockey team, ranked third in the East.
- Outstanding football halfback and defensive back.
- Inducted into the Boston College Varsity Club Athletic Hall
of Fame in 1991.
