Seguin Named Deputy Athletics Director

Boston College Director of Athletics Brad Bates has named Jaime Seguin, a 1999 BC graduate and current Deputy Athletics Director/Senior Woman Administrator at the University of Massachusetts, Deputy Athletics Director. In her role, Seguin will oversee internal operations and administration at BC.
"Jaime is a rising star in collegiate athletics and we are very fortunate that she has agreed to come "home" to her alma mater," Bates said. "She has a proven track record as an outstanding administrator and will play an integral role in the day-to-day operations of our department."
Seguin joined the UMass staff in 2004 as Assistant Athletics Director/Business and Personnel and was promoted to Associate Athletics Director (2005), Executive Associate Athletics Director/Associate Senior Woman Administrator (2007) and Deputy AD/Senior Woman Administrator (2014). Prior to UMass, she spent four years at the University of Hartford, the last three as the Assistant AD for Business & Finance.
Seguin handled all fiscal matters for UMass Athletics for the past decade and recently shifted focus to the oversight of the student-athlete service units including student-athlete academic services, athletic training and strength & conditioning. She also oversaw the Campus Recreation department.

"I am grateful to Brad Bates and Leo Sullivan for the opportunity to return to my alma mater, and I am excited about the opportunity to help Boston College Athletics continue the quest for excellence."
Seguin received her Bachelor's Degree in economics and psychology from Boston College before earning her Master's Degree in sport management from UMass in 2000.
